Alex Sharp
Stuntman, writer, actor Alex Sharp passed away on Thursday, March 6th, 2008. He contributed two outstanding scripts to The High Chaparral - "The Covey" and "A Fella Named Kilroy." Seven episodes of Bonanza were penned by Alex. He was stunt double for James Arness in Gunsmoke and appeared as an actor in nine episodes of the show. With a career that began in 1948, Alex made a profound contribution to movies and TV, particularly Westerns.
We were lucky enough to enjoy his stories at the 2005 High Chaparral Reunion.
He will be missed.

Alex Sharp,stuntman,actor,writer who passed away 6 March 2008, was married three times.By his 1st wife he had a son, Jacques b. 1950. By his 2nd wife, Pat Simpson, he had his second son, Bolen (Bo), b. 1960.
